Beaujolais 2000

A small production with 3 hectares of vignes averaging 45 years. Two or three of the best cuves from different parcels assembled for domaine bottling (about 450 cases); the rest sold off to negociants. The 2001, a Gold medal winner, just arrived.

Beaujolais Villages 2000

Guide Hachette: "This dark red wine opens with nuances fruitee and fine spices. After an attack fresh and agreeable, it reveals a nice fullness." A small production with 3 hectares of vignes averaging 45 years. A refreshing face of Beaujolais, this wine is quite hearty; it has a gamay nose and a pinot noir constitution; very filling, satisfying. Two or three of the best cuves from different parcels assembled for domaine bottling (about 450 cases); the rest sold off to negociants. The 2001 also just arrived.
